In Buddhism, the concept of "emptiness" encompasses both the notions of void and existence, negation and affirmation. Dualistic frameworks such as front and back, perception and phenomenon, mind and matter, simplify our understanding of the world. Here, white represents the tangible exterior, while black symbolizes emptiness. By creating these "invisible interiors," we become conscious of things subjectively and from a bird's-eye view perspective.
Blue Mind
I admire the sea. Its tranquil blue and gentle waters fill the soul. Recalling a shore I have visited and seen, I attempted to recreate it through art. Along the way, I realized how collective experiences strongly influence me. The "Blue Mind" pixels serve as a medium for memory, sending signals to our perception. While collective memory often shapes our impression of the sea, individuals perceive the sea differently within their memories. Even when looking at the same shore, each brain interprets it differently.
枯雨 KU YU
To achieve the philosophical state of "Ataraxia" – the serene and undisturbed state of mind – I ponder rescuing people from the tumult of emotions. Exploring the metaphor of "up and down" as expressions of emotions, within the realm of "downward" emotions, I find "sadness" particularly intriguing.
In "KUYU," rather than depicting actual rain, I aim to create a space with electronically generated, non-existent rain. In this environment, I hope for a fusion of new atmosphere and mood, where reason and emotion can intertwine. Whether viewers experience a sense of compassion, strive to focus amidst chaos, or contemplate themselves as a fragment of moss, I simply wish for them to experience even a fleeting moment of "Ataraxia."
Recysal
The purpose of this project was to develop innovatively designed digital tools to understand users' current processes and attitudes towards the disposal of household medical waste. By combining behavioral science with initiatives for recycling household medical waste and incorporating relevant knowledge, information and processes related to recycling become clearer and more understandable to the general public.
水が語る
Water, as people often say, is believed to be the source of life. However, to me, water is actually alive. Its vivid sensation resonates with our hearts as it changes form. In such diverse waters, can we see our own reflection? Can we feel that we've experienced such emotions in the past?
Water flows through us, the vessels called "humans," much like an independent living being, carrying various emotions. Using transparent resins and gels, I attempted to create nine different forms of "water." Through this, I aim to explore the connection between human emotions and nature while conveying the "language of water."

I attempted to assist in redesigning this webpage. In this role, I engaged in design thinking, focusing on enhancing information readability, overall visual coherence, and user-centric design. While there were no sweeping changes, I made improvements in the details to enhance the smoothness of reading and the ease of user interaction.
